A sophisticated recording and labeling system, which external control bodies continuously monitor, provides extensive information about each product and its properties at any time. This allows the beef to be traced throughout all stages of marketing and production.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The statutory minimum labeling as per the Beef Labeling Act provides the following information:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"center wp-block-list\"><li>Country in which the animal was born, raised, slaughtered and cut<\/li><li>Approval number of slaughterhouse and cutting plant<\/li><li>Identification number (earmark) of animal<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Voluntary information through the \u201cbos\u00ae\u201d system<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">With voluntary participation in the \u201cbos\u00ae\u201d system, ALPENRIND Salzburg can affix information to the label exceeding legal requirements. The beef labeling system of AMA Marketing GesmbH is the most important voluntary labeling system for beef and veal in Austria.
